Bo List (Producing Artistic Director) is a mild-mannered drama teacher at Sayre School by day, and AthensWest-er by night. He has served as Associate Artistic Director of Chicago’s Bailiwick Repertory (now Bailiwick Chicago), and Executive Producer of Germantown Community Theatre in the Memphis, TN area. As director he has worked with area groups Actors Guild of Lexington, Balagula Theatre, the Lexington Shakespeare Festival, and the University of Kentucky, and in theatres as far-flung as Chico, CA and Loch Sheldrake, NY. As educator, he serves as Chair of the Drama Program with the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts and as a frequent writer/collaborator with the Kentucky Humanities Council’s Chautauqua series of performances (telling the stories of Mary Todd Lincoln, Daniel Boone, and Jefferson Davis). His adaptation of Frankenstein was recently published by Dramatic Play Publishing, and has been produced across the country in professional, community, and academic theatres – having premiered in Lexington with KCT/Summerfest.
Mark Mozingo (Associate Artistic Director) Mark Mozingo. As an actor Mark has appeared Off-Broadway in the original company of Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge with Prospect Theatre Company at 59E59 Theatre. He has appeared onstage in New York and regionally around the country in Parade with The Gallery Players, The Hidden Sky, New Music Trilogy at Triad Stage, The Foreigner, 42nd Street, The Graduate, Take Me Out (Memphis' Ostrander Award Best Supporting Actor), Fiddler on the Roof, Urinetown, Ricky Ian Gordon’s States of Independence directed by Tina Landau. Film/TV/Web: HBO’s Girls, Seeking Series, Columbia and Yale student films, and a menswear commercial that only plays in China. Mark is a founding memberof AthensWest Theatre Company and an original company member of Judith Blazer's The Artists Crossing. He holds a BFA in Acting from Wright State University and he is a proud member of Actors Equity.
Kate Goodwin (Production Manager) Kate Goodwin is the Production Manager for AthensWest and Stage Manager for To Kill A Mockingbird. Since receiving her MFA in Stage Management from the University of Illinois, Kate has toured internationally with The Builders Association, collaborated on new works with Voices of the South, and stage managed for Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet. Now that she lives in Lexington, Kate teaches theatre courses for EKU and Asbury, in addition to stage managing, directing, designing, and killing it at karaoke. Some favorite stage management credits include Doubt, Metamorphoses, Cosi fan tutte, Cicada, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Driving Ms. Daisy, and Chicago. She is also proud both to serve on the community board and stage manage for The Girl Project. Much love to the family and village of friends who have made this endeavor possible.
Meredith Nelson (Business Manager) is a librarian by training, and an Alabama native with deep Kentucky roots. She has previously stage-managed and costumed productions for Woodford Theatre, AGL, Summerfest, Lexington Shakespeare Festival, ActOut, and AthensWest. By day, she is proud to manage the Land Records Dept. of the Fayette County Clerk's Office.
